Rebecca graduated from Mount Aloysius College with a BA degree in Sign Language/Interpreter Education, and a minor in English. She started interpreting professionally for SLS in January of 2009. She is a nationally certified interpreter, holding a National Interpreter Certificate (NIC) through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). She has interpreted in many different settings including mental health, behavioral health, routine doctors’ appointments, addiction groups, and educational interpreting. Rebecca believes her true calling is interpreting in religious settings, which includes church affiliated summer camp program for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals.
